Student Data 2020-2021

You will see student data from the latest covid year. At first, you see the student created a person A and person B dialogue. In order to proceed with the 8th-grade curriculum, I need to know if they knew the basics. During 7th grade they went over the verbs: To have, to need, to be, to be named/called, numbers and colors, and present tense. At the end of 8th grade, the students should be ready to take the proficiency exam. I see their progress when I see there is no use of google translate nor dictionaries when creating the magazines. They use words to describe what they want to say in Spanish. This is a sample of the magazine I made and then you’ll see the magazine this student has created. Take a look!!!

Student Data 2018-2019

This school year  2018-2019 I was working with the other Spanish Teacher. She taught me soo much!  She walked me through the entire curriculum. Students had never taken Spanish before so it was a very scary feeling. I always reminded them that it is ok to not be ok. It is ok to make mistakes, and that they shouldn't be ashamed for mispronouncing a word or sentence. This same student created a longer essay, using a different tense (past-participle) about Frida Khalo.

This is an essay of a student data 8th grade. Who I had because my other ex-coworker moved. So, I had the same 5 groups for two consecutive years. This is the school year 2019-2020 and now the students are in 8th grade. Students are able to express themselves in two types of future tenses. Two different types of past tense and three ways to express themselves in the present tense.
