Ambassador District Facilitator

Diversity is the engine that makes the world go round. By being an Ambassador District Facilitator I have been exposed to other teachers’ cultures, teaching practices, and philosophy of teaching. During the meeting, I gather data on the materials, topics, and pedagogical tools that teachers are using in their everyday lesson plans. I also take notes on the different formal and informal assessments that the teachers are using to measure students’ progress throughout the semester. Combining the information provided by the teacher I use recent data obtained from researchers' papers, and foreign language workshops to start a conversation with the other teachers on the school year goals.
